A few days ago I read a job posting: “we’re looking for a designer who focuses on form and structure, not intuition. It made me think. When did we start separating intuition from design? An architect doesn’t choose between engineering and beauty. They combine both. In the same way, good user experience doesn’t come from rules and structures alone — it comes from a deep understanding of people. From accumulated intuitions that become precise decisions, made in fractions of a second.
Defining myself as a designer is complex today, precisely because design has become something broader than any label. I’m not just a systems executor. I’m someone who observes, questions, and finds solutions where others consider the work already done. My vision of design combines intuition, knowledge and precision. Creativity with purpose. Boldness with judgment.

My design education taught me that boundaries between disciplines are artificial when approached with knowledge and rigor. That's why I've felt equally confident leading a snowboard magazine as leading the digital experience of a product used by thousands.
The discipline doesn't matter — motion graphics, corporate identity, creative direction, illustration, digital product. I approach every challenge the same way: with passion and with study. That global vision, built over years as Lead Product Designer and Head of Design, remains my greatest advantage.

I studied visual communication design at the Scooll of Art nº 10 of Madrid — typography, composition, graphic communication and art — building a foundation that goes beyond trends and into the principles that make design timeless. Over the years I've established myself as a design leader who approaches every challenge with a balanced mix of intuition and knowledge. Evocative visuals grounded in precision. Experiences that feel inevitable — simple, elegant and human at every touchpoint.

Throughout my career I've worked across agencies, in-house teams and as Head of Design leading end-to-end product strategy. My curiosity keeps me restless. My rigour keeps me precise. And my conviction that good design should be bold enough to break rules — when the rules deserve to be broken.

Co-founded with Xavier – Eltono and led a multidisciplinary design studio delivering interactive web experiences, Flash animations, motion graphics, and corporate identity. Managed client relationships and project execution while contributing hands-on as designer and animator, pioneering approaches that would later evolve into modern UX/UI and digital product design practices.

Designed early interactive web experiences at Brandmedia, a pioneering digital advertising startup in Madrid. Created websites, digital campaigns, and interactive marketing content, contributing to approaches that anticipated modern UX and digital product practices.

When Digital Nomad closed, I found myself at a crossroads. Instead of looking for the next door to knock on, I decided to build my own. This site, designed by me, is built entirely with Claude Code. I wanted to push beyond my comfort zone — experimenting with AI as a design-led tool, learning its limits and discovering what becomes possible when you stop being afraid of the unfamiliar.

The design is inspired by the work of Billy Sweeney, an endless source of inspiration. I reinterpreted his vision adding something of my own. I'm currently open to new projects and collaborations.
